Welcome to BetterParentAI, operated by Better Applications LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Overview​

BetterParentAI is a digital parenting assistant designed to help parents better understand, communicate with, and support their children through safe, AI-guided conversations. The Services are provided for informational, educational, and support purposes only and are not a substitute for professional advice (including medical, psychological, legal, or other professional services).

2. Eligibility​

To use our Services, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction);
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms; and
  • Use the Services only for lawful and personal purposes.

If you use the Services on behalf of another person or organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind them to these Terms.

3. Account Registration​

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete account information;
  • Maintain and promptly update such information;
  • Keep your login credentials secure; and
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or provide false information.

4. Our Services​

We provide features including:

  • AI-generated parenting guidance based on your prompts and conversations;
  • Customizable focus areas to tailor responses; and
  • Optional feedback to improve response quality and personalization.

While we strive for helpful and safe outputs, AI responses may contain errors and should not be relied upon as professional advice or in emergencies.

5. Payments and Subscriptions​

a. Payment Processing. Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store full payment details on our servers. Your payments are subject to Stripe’s own terms and privacy policy.

b. Billing and Renewal. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the end of the billing cycle. You may manage or cancel your subscription through the app or by contacting us at betterparentai@gmail.com.

c. Refund Policy. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Refunds may be granted at our discretion.

6. Acceptable Use​

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services for unlawful purposes;
  • Upload or share harmful, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or inappropriate content;
  • Reverse-engineer, copy, or misuse our AI systems, models, or source code;
  • Generate or disseminate content that promotes violence, harm, discrimination, or misinformation; or
  • Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services or related networks.

7. AI-Generated Content​

a. Nature of Responses. AI outputs are automated and may not reflect professional advice.

b. Responsibility for Use. You are solely responsible for how you interpret and act upon AI responses. Do not rely on the Services for emergencies or medical/legal decisions.

c. Content Ownership. You retain ownership of your input content. We may use de-identified or aggregated data to operate, secure, and improve the Services and to comply with law.

8. Intellectual Property​

All content, trademarks, code, text, designs, and other materials in the Services are owned by Better Applications LLC or its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or exploit any part of the Services without written consent.

9. Third-Party Services​

Our Services may link to or integrate with third-party services (e.g., Apple, Google, OpenAI, Stripe). Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party actions or content.

10. Privacy​

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information are described in our Privacy Policy, available at:

By using the Services, you consent to processing consistent with that policy.

11. Termination​

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or harms other users or our platform. Upon termination, your right to use the Services will cease immediately. You remain responsible for any outstanding obligations.

12. Disclaimers​

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR SECURE, OR THAT AI OUTPUTS WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR SUITABLE. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

13. Limitation of Liability​

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Better Applications LLC and its affiliates shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages; loss of profits, data, goodwill; or damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Services. Our total liability shall not exceed the greater of:

  • The amount you paid for the Services in the 12 months prior to the claim, or
  • $50 USD

14. Indemnification​

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Better Applications LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates from claims, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including attorneys’ fees) arising from your:

  • Use of the Services,
  • Violation of these Terms, or
  • Infringement of any third-party rights.

15. Governing Law and Venue​

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona.

16. Changes to These Terms​

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be indicated by the “Last updated” date above. Material changes may be communicated via the app, email, or our website. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
